Permit Registration Form
Requirements: Everyone who applies for a permit to park a
vehicle in a permit required lot on the Boise State campus,
must complete the registration process with Parking &
Transportation Services before that vehicle is parked in a
campus permit lot.
Necessary Paperwork:
A completed vehicle registration form, to include correct
license plate number and accurate description of the vehicle or
vehicles.
A Boise State University student, faculty or staff ID card
or other proof of status, and
Acceptable form of payment (We accept Cash, Checks*,
Credit/Debit cards as well as Bronco Bucks)
*Returned checks will cause permits to be considered invalid*
If one does not give accurate information on the
vehicle registration form, the permit will become
invalid and/or confiscated, the vehicle will be
ticketed and/or impounded, and/or parking privileges
revoked. The individual agrees to read and comply with
current parking and vehicle control regulations.
Permits remain the property of Boise State
University Parking Services and may not be reassigned
or sold for any reason by an individual. Parking
privileges are revocable at any time.
It is the responsibility of the individual who
changes vehicles and/or license plates after initial
registration to submit changes promptly to Parking
Services prior to permits being displayed on those
vehicles. Updates and changes may be made by U.S. mail,
phone, fax, or in person at the Parking Services Office.
Your Boise State University identification number must
be included on all requested changes.
It is the responsibility of a person who terminates
employment or student status to notify the Department
of Parking & Transportation Services.
For your own protection, please advise your state
motor vehicle division of every vehicle sale or trade to
avoid continued responsibility for subsequent
citations issued to the sold/traded vehicle.
Parking permits shall be removed from a motor vehicle
under the following circumstances:
- change in vehicle ownership;
- permit expiration;
- receipt of a new permit for the same time
period;
- vehicle/permit owner terminates association
with Boise State;
- cancellation of permit/decal for cause;
Annual and weekend parking permits are valid on an
academic year basis on the first day of each fall
semester. Some special permits are valid for
twelve calendar months from date of purchase; others
are valid for varying periods. See the appropriate

To take advantage of the payroll deduction option
requires a "BSU Payroll Deduct Authorization"
form, (available from Parking Services).
