Learn to Train Fitness Courses
If you have a passion for health and fitness, becoming a fitness instructor and learning to train others offers a fulfilling career that combines your passion for fitness with the opportunity to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
The ACE Learn to Train Course will prepare students to teach clients of varying fitness levels and pass the American Council on Exercise Personal Trainer Certification Exam. To register, students must have at least three semesters remaining until graduation. Please reach out to fitness@boisestate.edu with questions.
Course Dates
- The class will take place on Tuesdays from 4:30-6:00pm.
- Learn to Teach is an 11 week course that starts on Tuesday, September 5th.
- The course will take place at the Rec Center in Studio 2
Training Cost
- Students will pay $100 to participate in the class.
What to Expect
- The course will consist of lectures and practical activities that will prepare students to train clients of varying fitness levels.
- At the end of the course, students will participate in a mock training session to showcase their training skills and determine eligibility for training clients for Boise State Campus Recreation.
