The BSU Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) is an administrative compliance committee established to oversee research activities involved in:

Infectious or select agents (requires prior agent approval or coincidental request for such approval);
Recombinant DNA Research;
Biological Toxins, Mutigens and Teratogens;
Bioengineering Research; and
Use of human blood, body fluids or tissues;
