The BSU Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) is an administrative compliance committee established to oversee research activities involved in:
- Infectious or select agents (requires prior agent approval or coincidental request for such approval);
- Recombinant DNA Research;
- Biological Toxins, Mutigens and Teratogens;
- Bioengineering Research; and
- Use of human blood, body fluids or tissues;
