bsu social work students prepare global warming and climate
change in idaho report

Graduate students in social work at Boise State University
released a legislative briefing paper discussing causes of global warming;
the growing scientific consensus that global warming is occurring and
is being affected by human activity; global implications of climate change;
specific implication of global warming for Idaho and the Pacific Northwest;
actions being take in Idaho and other states to reduce greenhouse gas
emissions; and recommendations to the Idaho Legislature for policy consideration.

On March 4, 2007, students and faculty of the BSU School
of Social Work joined a rally supporting a measure to provide a grocery
food tax credit benefiting low income Idahoans.
