Special Olympics Oath

Kendra Huglin

Kendra Huglin competes in snowshoeing as well as other sports. She has participated in Special Olympics for a number of years. Her mom, Dr. Linda M. Huglin in the Department of Instructional and Performance Technology in the College of Engineering says "I can't begin to explain what a wonderful organization Special Olympics is. Participation in SOI has increased by daughter's self esteem, sense of camaraderie, and sense of accomplishment." As happens with Special Olympics, it has become a family affair. Kendra's father is a coach for Special Olympics winter sports.
