To Drop, Add, or withdraw

The responsibility for properly adding or dropping classes and/or withdrawing from the University rests solely with the student. Failure to observe proper procedures will result in the student receiving a failing grade. Process through BroncoWeb.

  • Withdrawing from all summer session classes is processed by the student by dropping all classes through BroncoWeb. For assistance call 426-BWEB (208) 426-2932.
  • Students may not withdraw from classes and workshops after they have ended.
  • All complete withdrawals from the University are subject to a $40 processing fee.
  • Drop Fee—As a student you are expected to finalize your class schedule at the beginning of each term. Dropping unwanted courses as the semester begins allows other students the opportunity to add the courses they need. You will have the opportunity to attend the first class session to make a decision to stay enrolled or drop before a $10 drop fee per course is charged. The drop fee deadlines vary by session. See Academic Calendar Summer 2012 Deadlines by Session table for the deadlines.
  • For more information, contact the BroncoWeb Help Center at (208) 426-4980.

Financial Aid

Summer aid is available to students who have not used all of their annual eligibility. Federal Pell Grants, ACG/SMART Grants, Federal Direct Loans, Federal PLUS loans, and remaining work-study may be available to help pay for summer classes.

Go to financialaid.boisestate.edu for more information and deadlines for applying for Summer Financial Aid.
