Summer 2012 Frequently Asked Questions

I just want to enroll in a class or two. Is there a convenient way to enroll without having to provide transcripts and other admission materials?

Yes! Apply as a nondegree-seeking student. This simply involves completing a form and paying a processing fee. This will allow you to register for the summer courses you want. Just be aware that you will not be able to receive federal financial aid, take 8 or more credits in the fall or spring semesters, or participate in priority registration as a nondegree-seeking student.

Are there classes offered online in the summer?

Yes, Boise State offers a limited number of undergraduate courses online as well as classes in two online Master’s degrees. Individual classes are listed in the summer schedule with the instructional mode of "Internet" or "Internet-E."
