ENGL 516 Topics in Print Document Production

The Document Production Process (3-0-3) (F/S). This course covers the entire print production process from gathering materials to planning documents, developing time and budget estimates, working with color, selecting paper, and working with printers. You will work in project teams to produce documents for use by area clients, who intend to print and distribute your products to their intended audiences. Each class meeting will consist of an extended discussion of the week's topic and reading assignment and a free hour of workshopping or group meetings. PREREQ: ENGL 515 or PERM/INST.
