Students will first understand the role of XML in the management of content. They will then develop content models, write DTDs or Schema for these models, and create XML documents using an XML authoring interface. Various software implementations and applications will be explored. Concepts learned are also applicable to print environments. PREREQ: ENGL 515 or PERM/INST.
