ENGL 597 Special Topics

Usability Testing (3-0-3) (F/S). This graduate seminar in technical communication studies the principles and design of usability testing. Topics to be covered include developing a testing plan, selecting and coordinating test participants, preparing test materials, conducting tests, and analyzing results. As part of the course, students will conduct usability tests for both screen and print documents. PREREQ: ENGL 512 or PERM/INST.
