Sources of Employment and Financial Assistance
Employment
Most of our students work part-time or full-time in local business, industry, and government. The Department of English has an Internship Coordinator who assists students in securing an internship. The best sources of leads for employment are other students in the program and the Snake River Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (STC). The STC chapter, which meets monthly, has almost 100 members in the Treasure Valley.

If you are seeking university and federal loans, contact the Financial Aid Office, Administration Building, Room 117, (208) 426-1664. In general, this office makes its decisions for the next academic year's financial aid by March 1.
