Roger Munger
Roger has taught in many settings including graduate, undergraduate, distance education, and workplace training programs. His teaching and research interests include Web-based training, information design, publications management, and proposal development.
As a technical communicator and consultant, Roger has developed winning proposals, online help, technical communication workshops, internet-based exams, biomedical patent applications, and handbooks. His clients include U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, National Park Service, U.S. Geological Survey, U.S. Department of Education, Educational Testing Service, Idaho State Department of Agriculture, Idaho Mountain Search and Rescue Unit, Pine Bluff Police Department, and Chauncey Group International.
Roger is author of Document-Based Cases for Technical Communication (Bedford/St. Martin’s, 2005). His technical communication articles have appeared in IEEE Transactions on Professional Communication, Technical Communication Quarterly, Proposal Management, Intercom, TEXT Technology, and Business Communication Quarterly. A former emergency medical technician, Roger has also published numerous articles and delivered presentations on communication practices in the medical field.
