MATC Students
Students in the MATC program are entering technical communication or are already employed in the field. Some students plan to pursue a doctorate after completing the program. About half the students in the program hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in a liberal arts discipline: English, history, journalism, etc. The other half represent many disciplines.
Although a few of our students study full time, taking three seminars each semester, most study part-time and work either part-time or full-time. All our seminars are offered in the evenings, meeting once a week in three-hour time blocks.
