The Idaho Review remains open to a wide range of possibilities within the literary arts. While we welcome both traditional and experimental work, we are not a good choice for genre fiction or poetry.
We have no length requirements or restrictions.
We consider unsolicited work postmarked from September 1 to May 1 only. All manuscripts postmarked outside of the submission period will be returned unread. Manuscripts without a SASE will not be read or returned. Always send a good clean copy with a brief cover letter. We strive to respond within three to five months.
