DEADLINE: Last Day to Waive SHIP is Monday 9/8

This is a reminder that the last day to waive your Student Health Insurance coverage for Fall 2008 is Monday, September 8, 2008.

As required by the Idaho State Board of Education, all students registered for 8 (eight) or more academic credits on the 10th day of classes and all international students are automatically enrolled in the university-sponsored Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP), with the premium charge added to their tuition and fees.

If you have an alternative U.S.-based health insurance plan with comparable benefits, you must opt out of the SHIP coverage or the premium will be automatically charged to your student account.

To submit the waiver, you must log on to your BroncoWeb account at: broncoweb.boisestate.edu. Click on "Students", then "Student Account", then "Health Insurance Waiver Application". Upon completion of the waiver, print a copy of the receipt for your records.
