A Pizza For Your Thoughts... |

A pizza for your thoughts...
Have you ever thought about what the Library could do better to benefit you or others? If so, then this is the meeting for you!
The librarians and staff at the BSU Albertsons Library have been working hard to make your library the best it can be. But in all our efforts, we're missing the most important thing of all: YOU.
Come join the Student Library Advisory Committee (SLAC). If you come to our meeting you'll see just how serious we are. We'll be relying on SLAC to tell us what we should change at the library, what new services we should start, and what kind of great ideas we should be exploring. It's all up to YOU!
Date: Wednesday, April 15th
Time: 4:30pm
Location: Papa Joes Restaurant, 1301 S. Capitol Blvd.
RSVP to Sara Seely at SaraSeely@boisestate.edu (208) 426-1263. See you there!

Parking Update |
 |
We thank all BSU permit holders for their cooperation during the month of April. Several events and maintenance caused some lot closures to permit holders. We appreciate your understanding and assistance in using alternative parking locations. We are excited to announce that there will be minimum restrictions to campus parking lots this month.
No Spring Break For Parking Staff
The Transportation and Parking staff did not take a break during Spring break. Transportation and Parking Services teamed up with Facilities Operations and Maintenance and had all the parking lots swept and cleaned. All of the dirt lots were graded, removing potholes and irregularities. Please help keep your parking lots, garages, and streets clean. Dispose of your trash in any of the conveniently located trash receptacles when you are on campus. It is everyone's responsibility to ensure we can always be proud of our University.
Go Green, Get Lean
Transportation and Parking Services has teamed with Campus Recreation for the 2nd annual Go Green, Get Lean incentive program. Leave your car at home and get moving!
Ride the bus free, carpool, walk or bike. Finish the six weeks with 36 alternative one way trips and receive a t-shirt as your reward. This FREE program runs March 29th-May 9th. Registration ends Friday April 3rd. For details call (208) 426-1131 or click rec.boisestate.edu/fitness/incentives.
PARKING & TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
April 7th Boise School District Career Fair will be held at the Taco Bell Arena. More than 2000 high school students from across the Valley will be attending. The general area of the West Stadium will be closed to permit holders for the day. We encourage general permit parkers to take advantage of the East Stadium lot.
April 11th Beat Coach Pete
University Dr. from Lincoln Ave. to Manitou St. will be closed 5am- 1pm for the Beat Coach Pete race. Limited access will be allowed on Bronco Circle and in the West Stadium lot. Parking for this event is being offered in the Lincoln Garage.
April 17th Spring Football Scrimmage
It’s that time of year again, football fans will be parking in the Stadium lots starting at 3pm, kick-off is scheduled for 6pm. Parking will not be restricted to permit holders and no vehicles will have to relocate.
April 25th- Several events
are being held across campus, parking will be very limited in the evening. If you are planning to come to campus in the evening please arrive early to find a parking space, and allow additional time to walk to your destination.
SPRINGTIME SAFETY TIPS
• Take extra caution this time of year as pedestrians, bicyclists, skateboarders increase in number. Motorcycle use will increase, so be aware and look twice.
• Warm weather will bring on the leaves and foliage. This could obscure your vision at intersections and driveways. Use caution in these areas, as it is our responsibility to ensure the road is clear before we enter it.
