Six winners from the Foundations of the Discipline categories will become one of Boise State’s nominees for the Idaho State Board of Education’s new GEM awards, which will celebrate outstanding general education teaching across Idaho’s universities.

Graduate College Excellence in Graduate Mentoring Award

The Boise State Graduate College Excellence in Graduate Mentoring Award is designed to recognize and celebrate the considerable efforts of faculty who consistently serve as effective mentors and to encourage and promote a culture of mentorship across the university.

Each year, the Graduate College will provide two graduate mentoring awards and two honorable mentions. Recipients of the graduate mentoring award will each receive an award of $1,000.

The David S. Taylor Service to Students award is for a faculty or staff member who demonstrates above and beyond commitment to serving students.

The Inclusive Excellence Awards are for a student, staff, faculty member, or group who are committed to creating a campus environment that reflects inclusive excellence at Boise State.

Student Organization Advisor of the Year

This award is for an advisor dedicated to changing the lives of students involved in student organizations.

Ten for Teaching Certificate

The Ten for Teaching (T4T) certificate program is designed to provide Boise State faculty with a framework within which to continually develop their knowledge of what kinds of teaching practices best support student learning, while also interacting and sharing ideas with colleagues. Learn more about the Ten for Teaching certificate.

BUILD Certificate
