Welcome to a new year of the Faculty Senate. We are preparing for the Spring 2021 semester. The Faculty Senate is a representative body that is responsible for faculty participation in University planning and shared governance.
Senate meetings will take place remotely in Fall 2020 and Spring 2021. Senate meetings are open to all faculty, which is the primary audience, and also the staff and students at the University. The Senate meetings take the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month, with some months only having one meeting per month due to the academic calendar. In Spring 2021 the change of Spring Break impacts the meeting schedule as there will be two meetings in March and one in April.
I welcome faculty to engage with the Senate.
