Patrick Fithen ’08
CEO, A Body & Mind Health Services
Social Science and Criminal Justice
Patrick Fithen struggled early on with his studies, but by the time he graduated from Boise State University with a bachelor’s degree in Social Science and an associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, he’d come to think of the university as home.
Fithen has more than 15 years of experience in mental health, and since 2019 he has been the CEO of A Body & Mind Health Services, which now has five locations. A Body & Mind specializes in serving all community members and ages at their mental health clinics. Those services have touched more than 1,700 people.
Fithen says he has never really left Boise State, where he gained lasting relationships and often plays basketball at the Rec Center. At A Body & Mind, he has provided nine internships to Broncos studying in the Social Work program, including five during the COVID-19 pandemic, allowing those interns to graduate in the spring of 2021. In 2022, the Idaho Business Review nominated him as a CEO of Influence. His company has won accolades as one of the Top-20 best employers, top three for minorities, and top three for employee growth in 2022.
