Future Plans: Begin her career in structural engineering while continuing to invest in her creative and entrepreneurial passions. Having recently purchased a home locally, she is excited to put down roots and begin this next chapter after graduation.

Biography
Ali Russell is a dual-degree student at Boise State University studying civil engineering and business administration, with a minor in entrepreneurship. Her time at Boise State has been shaped by a focus on leadership, service, and making a meaningful impact on campus.
Early in her time at Boise State, Russell worked as a student assistant with the Bronco Athletic Association, collaborating with the Lyle Smith Society and gaining experience in donor relations and event coordination. She was also involved in the American Society of Civil Engineers’ Timber-Strong Design-Build team, where she served as president and helped lead the team to back-to-back third-place national finishes. Russell is currently gaining professional experience as a structural engineering intern at WSP, where she contributes to real-world design projects and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams. She will continue her work at WSP as an engineer-in-training after graduation.
Russell is a founding member of the Boise State Student Philanthropy Board and the creator of Bronco Heart Day, a campus-wide initiative focused on CPR and AED awareness. Through this effort, she has played a key role in bringing more than 20 new AEDs to campus while expanding CPR and AED awareness and training opportunities for students, faculty and staff — momentum that continues to grow.
In addition to her leadership and service, Russell is the founder of AliCreativeCo, a successful photography business serving over 200 clients. She is passionate about using her skills to not only design structures and capture memories, but to build stronger, safer communities.
Russell is from Meridian, Idaho.
