Serving as the president of the International Student Association and Human Resource Association, vice president of the Residential Housing Association, and as an On-Campus Housing Representative on the Associated Students of Boise State University Assembly, she has organized events and created opportunities to promote professional development, and a more inclusive environment for students with marginalized identities.

Chi’s off-campus activities have been prolific. She has volunteered for the Borgen Project, raising money for the International Affairs budget; and been a member of the International Affairs Committee of the Society of Industrial/Organizational Psychology. She has been recognized as an SHRM Emerging Professional Champion by the Society for Human Resource Management because of her leadership at Boise State HRA, and is a member of the National Millennial and Gen Z Community, representing young professionals in conversations on problem-solving for companies like Google, WellsFargo and Starbucks.
