Young Women and Leadership Conference

February 23

The annual Young Women and Leadership Conference, slated for Tuesday, Feb. 23 and hosted by Boise State University’s Andrus Center for Public Policy, will move to a virtual platform. Organizers expect more than 600 attendees.

Students in grades 9-12 are welcome to attend this inspiring one-day virtual conference to hear from renowned keynote speakers, experience skill-building workshops, and network with business professionals, speakers, sponsors, and more.

Registration is available to all (gender-neutral) students. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the Andrus Center website: https://www.boisestate.edu/sps-andruscenter/young-women-and-leadership-conference/

A limited number of scholarships are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Find the scholarship request form on the website.

The 2021 conference will include two distinguished women speakers who have broken barriers and improved the local community: Liyah Babayon, Baku genocide survivor, author, and small business owner, and Tai Simpson, Nimiipuu Black organizer and activist who was the Boise Young Professionals Young Leader of the Year 2020.
