Saturday Events

Many roads around campus will close for game day, and parking will be extremely limited. We strongly recommend leaving your car behind and using rideshares or public transportation — like Uber, Lyft or South Bend’s Transpo bus service — whenever possible. Due to road closures and general traffic, we recommend arriving on campus two hours before the game.

Notre Dame Tailgate Experiences

For the true Notre Dame experience, head to the Gameday Party Zone. Tickets start at $150 per person and include food, a full bar, games and live music. This event starts three hours before kickoff and is put on by Notre Dame, so Bronco fans who attend should expect to be surrounded by plenty of Fighting Irish spirit.

Step-Off from the Dome

Follow the Notre Dame marching band to the stadium, accompanied by Irish Guards and cheerleaders. This exciting pre-game tradition starts on the main steps of the Golden Dome and parades through central campus. Meet at the Golden Dome 30-45 minutes before kickoff or watch along the parade route — the band will drop you off at the stadium with plenty of time to settle in before kickoff.

Leaving Campus

Take your time getting out of the stadium! After the game, it can take one to two hours to get out of South Bend. Restaurants in town are also crowded. If you’d like to avoid the rush, consider dining at South Dining Hall, known for its large, Hogwarts-like setting.
