  • Erica Brick

    UXR Program Affiliate

    Erica has worked as a UX Research leader for over ten years. She has founded research programs and scaled teams within start-ups and large organizations including Trulia, Weebly and Google. She has her Masters’ degree in HCI from San Jose State, but her true allegiance lies with Chico State, where she was a collegiate volleyball player during her undergraduate studies. Erica and her family moved from the Bay Area to Boise in 2019, and feel lucky to live in such a beautiful city. She is proud to be joining the Boise State family and is excited to be supporting the UX Research Certificate program and students.

  • Marc Hebert

    UXR Program Affiliate

    Marc Hebert holds a PhD in anthropology from the University of South Florida. In 2014, Marc founded and continues to serve as Director of the Innovation Office in the Department of Human Services, City of San Francisco. Marc’s work positions him on the cutting edge of service design in the public sector and he presents his work frequently at professional conferences. Marc was recently a recipient of the Edmund Hilary Fellowship. Marc helped design the first iteration of our UXR course, Anthropology and Design, and he absolutely loves to visit Boise. “Can life really be this good?” Marc brings great insight and enthusiasm to his work with Boise State students and faculty.

  • Norman Stolzoff

    UXR Program Affiliate

    Norman earned his PhD in anthropology at the University of California, Davis. His book on Jamaican dancehall culture has been cited over 500 times and continues to influence research and scholarship two decades after its publication. Norman is the Founder and Principal of Ethnographic Insight, Inc of Bellingham, Washington. Ethnographic Insight has worked on corporate and public sector projects for two decades, including work with a large chunk of the Fortune 500 (including Pepsico, Fritolay, FedEx, Microsoft, Ford, Whirlpool, and many more). Norman helped develop the initial concept for the Design Ethnography Certificate at Boise State and has great enthusiasm for working with Boise State students and faculty.
