Statement on Timely Warning Regarding Sexual Assaults

BOISE, Idaho – ASBSU stands with every student affected by the recent reports of sexual assaults across campus. We unequivocally condemn all forms of sexual violence and reaffirm our commitment to fostering a campus environment where every Bronco feels safe, supported, and heard.

We recognize that these reports can cause concern and emotional distress for many students. ASBSU is working closely with university partners to ensure that prevention, awareness, and survivor support remain top priorities. This includes making sure students have clear access to confidential reporting options, counseling services, and campus safety resources.

We also want to emphasize that students’ willingness to come forward and seek help reflects a growing culture of awareness and accountability at Boise State. When survivors speak out, it strengthens our community and helps create a safer campus for everyone.

We encourage all students to continue looking out for one another, to utilize available resources, and to reach out if they or someone they know needs support. Together, we can build a community grounded in care, trust, and the shared commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of every student.
