ASBSU Elections

Get involved by voting in the student government elections! Elected members of student government inform policy and work diligently for student advocacy, campus issues, and events.

The general elections ballot will be open Monday, April 3 12:00 am MST through Tuesday, April 4 11:59 pm MST. Qualified voters will receive an email with the link to vote. Election results will be announced on Wednesday, April 5.

Elected positions include:

  • President and Vice President
  • Associate Vice President of Student Organization Affairs
  • Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs
  • Associate Vice President of Inclusive Excellence (must go through a slating process first)

Qualified voters will also be asked to vote on proposed ASBSU Constitution amendments. These changes were brought forward during multiple Constitutional Convention meetings held throughout the academic year. To review the proposed changes, click on the button below.

Elections are done through an Instant Runoff System, so you will be asked to rank candidates in the case of an instant runoff. For more information about Instant Runoff Voting systems, check out this short informational video or read more on
