NSF NEON Workshop: Full Waveform Lidar Analysis

This 1-day course taught by Boise State and NEON full waveform lidar experts will consist of lectures and labs on full waveform concepts, an introduction to NEON AOP full waveform sensors, data formats, and data processing (extracting waveforms). We offer a workshop focused on NEON-hyperspectral data and another workshop focused on NEON lidar data.

Date: October 9, 2017
Hours: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
Location: Room 217 Cheatham Hall, Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Virginia
Instructors: Keith Krause (kkrause@battelleecology.org), Tristan Goulden (tgoulden@battelleecology.org), Nayani Ilangakoon (NayaniIlangakoon@u.boisestate.edu), Lucas Spaete (lucasspaete@boisestate.edu), Nancy Glenn (nancyglenn@boisestate.edu)
Audience: Researchers and students interested in using NEON data, including data from the airborne operation platform (AOP) to derive full waveform lidar products for NEON science. Background in lidar a plus.
