A Tool for Marketing and Communications
Within Boise State Beacon is an email distribution service called Marketing Cloud. It will allow us to design, build and manage dynamic emails within the Boise State brand while pulling data and contact lists from one source —the Boise State Beacon. Marketing Cloud also includes built-in analytics, reporting, and a growing suite of templates, to name just a few of the improvements over other platforms.
Training and Resources
Boise State will roll out Marketing Cloud gradually over the next few years to units that wish to send email communications both externally and internally and are currently using NetCommunity, Constant Contact, MailChimp, etc.
Marketing Cloud updates contact data daily for various Boise State systems. As with Boise State Beacon, Marketing Cloud will also require a specific login for faculty and staff. But you can get a head start today by visiting these resources.
