Dr. Laxman Mainali’s research group, part of Boise State’s Biomolecular Sciences Graduate Program and Department of Physics, has published a new peer-reviewed review article in Investigative Ophthalmology & Visual Science (IOVS) — a well-respected journal in vision science.
This publication marks an important milestone for the lab and reflects the outstanding collaborative work by researchers including graduate and undergraduate team members, and partners like the Medical College of Wisconsin. The paper adds to a growing body of impactful research coming from Mainali’s group on the biophysical properties of eye lens membranes — a topic central to understanding age-related eye conditions such as presbyopia and cataract.
