PhotoShelter

This page includes information about accessing the portal, using its features and following guidelines for downloading and using photography.

More ways to find, use and share photography

Our new PhotoShelter portal gives campus users more powerful tools to find the right image, download it in the format they need and organize photography for their projects.

Search smarter
Find images based on what’s actually in the photo, not just keywords or captions.

Download what you need
Download web-ready and other appropriately sized versions of images without having to resize them yourself.

Organize your projects
Collect, organize and share images for a specific project, campaign or team.

Before you download

A few guidelines to keep in mind when accessing and using Boise State photography.

  • Choose the appropriate resolution. Medium-resolution images are ideal for web and small print projects. For poster-size or larger print projects, request a higher-resolution version.
  • Use images for official Boise State purposes only. All images are property of Boise State University and should only be used for official university purposes.
  • Download images directly from PhotoShelter. Do not screenshot images. Screenshotting may result in your PhotoShelter access being revoked.
