WHERE is CONNECT being held this year? Albertson’s HQ.
WHAT TIME and what is the agenda? Event details will be sent to registrants.
PARKING? Parking is free and available at Albertson HQ.
DRESS? Business professional attire.
FOOD? We will have appetizer stations scattered about the main floor.
What is the format? Is it like a career fair? Nope. The event will begin with a little sprinkle of open networking and appetizer bites, a welcome and short keynote to follow. Industry specific career exploration panels are next, finishing with a open networking opportunity before you make your way home.
This event is designed to help Bronco student-athletes get comfortable having their first professional conversations and building professional relationships. They will have questions and we know you have answers. Feel free to share your stories, any opportunities you might have coming up or simply offer your advice. We are so grateful for your participation.
Is there a fee to participate? This is a free event for both professionals and student-athletes.
How many student-athletes attend CONNECT? Average attendance – 150 juniors and seniors, but all student-athletes are invited.
How many business professionals attend CONNECT? Average attendance – 130 professionals from 8+ industries.
What is my role as a business professional at CONNECT? Meet, mix, mingle, exchange stories of career discovery and getting started.
What is my role as a student-athlete at CONNECT? Share your story and any questions you have about a career you are interested in.
Do I have to have anything prepared ahead of time? Its encouraged to have a 30 second “elevator pitch” about yourself.
What if others from my company want to attend? Please forward them the link to our registration form.
Can I bring swag to give away? Please bring business cards, but not swag.
Will there be a list of all attendees? Yes, more to come on when that will be available.
