Shadow Year Phase of the University Budget Model

FY26

The Shadow Year Phase of the University Budget Model formally launched July 1, 2025. The Shadow Year will run until June 30, 2026, with implementation of the completed University Budget Model intended to begin July 1, 2026.

The Shadow Year Phase will run concurrently with the current budget model. During this time, PAC and a series of working groups will establish governance methods for the model, roll out dashboards and develop other resources for college/division business managers and leaders.

FY27

The university will implement the full University Budget Model on July 1, 2026, for FY27.
