Career Counselor

I joined the amazing Career Services team in August of 2012.

My occupation before Career Counselor was as a Behavior Data Analyst in the Autism community. I loved the people I worked with but something was missing. Upon doing my own career exploration, I decided to go back to school and follow my childhood dream of becoming a counselor.

Prior to moving to Boise, I obtained my master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia and completed my internship at the university’s career services center. During my time there, my grandmother’s words began to make sense, “fall in love with your work.” Luckily for me, those words became a reality and I found my dream job at Boise State University!

Although I am new to the West, I have lived in Japan, Minnesota, Washington, DC, and various parts of Georgia. I am excited to start exploring Boise and the surrounding areas!
