I am an avid science enthusiast and teacher. I love the beauty that comes from studying the natural world and showing my students the joys of scientific discovery. My passion for science was first ignited by my high school teacher, Mr. Jacobson, and further pursued by studying biology and chemistry at Carroll College. After graduating in 2016, I worked as a lab analyst at a water analysis lab in Montana before pursuing my graduate studies at Montana State University.
In my free time I enjoy gardening, homebrewing kombucha, playing board games, and taking hikes with my two dogs Loki and Freya. In all that I do, I strive to keep of the enthusiasm of science alive – whether it be teaching a student about equilibrium or brewing a new kombucha recipe.
