Who can join the wait list
Boise State University Children’s Center provides early care and education for Boise State students, faculty and staff. Currently, only people affiliated with Boise State who have an active ID number can add themselves to our wait list, including adjunct faculty. At this time, we can’t accommodate community members who aren’t affiliated with Boise State, including alumni. If you leave Boise State or are no longer a student, you have the option to stay at the children’s center but will need to pay the community rate.
How to join the wait list
How we offer spaces
When a classroom space opens, we give priority in this order:
- Children of Children’s Center employees
- Currently enrolled families who want to enroll a sibling
- Children of Boise State students, faculty and staff (spots are offered to these families via a lottery system).
- Once a class’s wait list is exhausted, we have the option to offer spots to University of Idaho affiliates.
We typically enroll new families at the start of the fall and spring semesters. We’ll notify all families on the wait list at least one month before the semester starts, whether or not space is available for their family.
