Viera and Cornwall present on connecting languages with other disciplines

Carolina Viera and Fátima Cornwall with the Department of World Languages

Carolina Viera and Fátima Cornwall, Department of World Languages, presented virtually at the virtual Pacific Northwest Conference on Foreign Languages annual conference on March 19, 2022.

The presenters shared ideas on how to identify ways to connect languages with other disciplines based on their own experience with Project Scientia, a collaboration between biology and world languages in their presentation, “World Language instructors teaching sciences? Thankfully, we have connections!”

The National Science Foundation Idaho’s Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) Program and the National Science Foundation (award number OIA-1757324) made the presentation possible. Learn more about Project Scientia.
