Viera and Cornwall present on connections among language, translation and the biological sciences

Boise State faculty Carolina Viera and Fátima Cornwall at the 2022 Chicago Language Symposium

Carolina Viera and Fátima Cornwall, both with the Department of World Languages at Boise State, presented “LSP and STEM Interdisciplinary Research” at the 2022 Chicago Language Symposium held at the University of Chicago on in April.

Both instructors showcased Project Scientia and shared preliminary research findings between languages and their collaboration with biological sciences. The National Science Foundation (award number OIA-1757324) and the National Science Foundation Idaho Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) helped fund the research and paper.
