Brady presents lecture on war and environment at Sun Yat-sen University

Lisa M. Brady, professor and department chair in the Department of History, presented a lecture via Zoom to Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, China, on May 11, 2022. Her talk, “War and Environment in the 20th Century: A Global Analysis,” explored the environmental implications of a century of military confrontation and development across the globe, pointing to ways such activities have transformed local and global ecosystems.

Approximately 150 people from China and Taiwan attended the lecture which took place at Sun Yat-sen University, a premiere academic institution in southern China.
