Idaho Film Collection grant proposal deadline: Oct. 15, 2022

The Idaho Film Collection supports scholarly research and creative activities in film, photography and media studies as these relate to and/or benefit Idaho and the Northwest. IFC supports the activities of filmmakers, photographers and scholars in related fields, as well as public screenings, exhibitions and festivals.

Apply by October 15, 2022

The collection encourages students, scholars, photographers and filmmakers (including members of the Boise State, local and statewide communities) to apply for grants by Oct. 15, 2022.

Grants for students

Current Boise State students can apply for film, experimental video and photography grants that range from $200-$500. View the application process for students on the Idaho Film Collection website.

Grants for faculty, staff and independent filmmakers and photographers

Scholars, photographers and filmmakers (including members of the Boise State, local and statewide communities) can apply for grants that range from $500-$1500.
