School for the Digital Future seeks student ambassadors

The School for the Digital Future (SDF) is seeking four highly motivated students to serve as student ambassadors. This is a foundational, hands-on opportunity to help launch and sustain a student-led advisory board, ensuring a lasting student voice in the SDF’s strategic direction.

Student ambassadors will establish the framework for the future student advisory board and piloting initiatives that drive its success, while building a strong peer community within the School for the Digital Future.

Here are examples of the work student ambassadors may do:

  • Lead communications, outreach and engagement initiatives to expand the SDF student community.
  • Help build and establish a sustainable, student-led advisory board.
  • Represent the student perspective in strategic planning and with SDF leadership/advisory boards.
  • Bring your creative ideas and collaborate with faculty and staff in SDF.

This is more than a typical student role; it’s a chance to gain experience in strategic planning, leadership, and institutional development. You will create a lasting legacy for future students and receive a stipend for your participation.

Eligibility

Students who meet the following requirements are encouraged to apply:

  • Must be declared as an SDF major or certificate holder. See eligible programs.
  • Must have a Boise State GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  • Preference will be given to students who can commit through the spring semester.

Applications are due by Oct. 15, 2025.
