Call for participation: 2026 AI Institute for Teaching and Learning

The School for the Digital Future invites faculty to apply for the 2026 AI Institute for Teaching and Learning, a three-day workshop from May 13-15 from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., offered in-person and online.

This institute is designed for educators who wish to explore critical, ethical and practical implications of AI in course design, student engagement and assessment strategies tied to a specific course for AY 26-27.

Who should apply?

This institute is open to all faculty (including adjunct faculty) with all backgrounds and familiarity in AI, and who have a clear course in mind for Fall 2026 or Spring 2027. If you attended last year’s institute, you may still apply.

Stipends available

$250 stipends will be offered to selected participants. Lunch will be provided for in-person participants.

How to apply

Faculty must complete the application by April 16, 2026. Stipends are limited and prioritized on a first-come, first-served basis. Acceptance notifications will be shared by April 17, 2026.
