Christy Suciu graduated with a bachelor of science from the University of Arizona in business and public administration and completed her graduate work at Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri where she graduated with highest honors. She works in the management department in the College of Business and Economics at Boise State University. At Boise State University she has developed and taught three different “Design Thinking and Strategy” courses in the MBA program. (Professional, Career Track and Online MBA).

Her research interests include design thinking, innovation, and strategy. One of her most recent papers was accepted in the Academy of Management Learning and Education and is titled, “The Intersection of Design and Business Schools: The Need for Design Thinking.” She has served as a design thinking consultant for major global companies, and recently has presented research papers, on the topic of design thinking at conferences in Hong Kong, Istanbul, and Cape Town. In 2016, she is a program track chair for two major conferences in Boston and in Finland on the topic of design thinking, innovation and entrepreneurship.

Some of the companies she has worked for on design thinking projects and consulting include Biomark, Blue Cross of Idaho, PakSense, HP, Wells Fargo, Zamzows, American Pharma, Sprint; Boise State – Campus Recreation Department, Luke Jones, PhD; Boise State – Engineering, Peter Mullner, PhD. Magnetic Materials; and Boise State – Biology, Juliette Tinker, PhD, Staff Vaccine.
