Bio

Dr. Timothy Dunne is an Associate Professor of Management in the College of Business and Economics at Boise State University, and he is the Faculty Advisor for the Executive MBA program. Timothy received his PhD in management as well as his MBA from the University of Missouri.

Prior to academia, Dr. Dunne spent time in the financial services industry and in human resource management.

Dr. Dunne’s interest in studying leadership and team dynamics has shaped his research, which focuses on topics related to organizational behavior, human resource management, and conflict management. The context for much of his research is small business and entrepreneurship. His work has been published in numerous academic journals including Journal of Business Research, Group and Organization Management, and Conflict Resolution Quarterly. Dr. Dunne teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Leadership and Organizational Behavior.

Dr. Dunne has established programs and offered services to a number local and national companies including the State of Idaho, Nissan North
Americas and Bridgestone. Timothy is a native of Idaho, and has a special passion for the Boise State community! His most enjoyable pastime is being in the outdoors with his wife and four daughters.
