Transfer Students

Welcome to Boise State!

Hello and welcome transfer students to the College of Business and Economics (COBE)!  We are happy to have you continue your academic career with us. We know that many of you are eager to get started and we have some helpful steps for making your transition to Boise State.

More About Our College

We are an AACSB-accredited school which means we have some of the highest-quality faculty, that deliver relevant and challenging curriculum, and provide educational and career opportunities that are not found at other business schools. At the College of Business and Economics, you will study in a world-class facility. Comfortable places to study, student team rooms and room to hang-out—with food service—will make COBE your home away from home. Located along the Boise River and close to downtown Boise, Idaho, there is natural beauty and outdoor adventure in every direction.

Transfer Student Process

  1. Get Admitted
    • Make sure you have completed all necessary steps for admission to Boise State

2. Have all completed transfer work sent to Boise State Admissions

    • Note: 300 and 400 level courses taken at for-profit non-AACSB accredited schools will not be accepted by COBE. (e.g., University of Phoenix, Brown Mackie, Stevens-Henager)

3. Wait for confirmation that your transcripts have been evaluated by the Registrar’s office

4. Register for an Orientation

    • This will be the most important step of your transition to Boise State. For more information about orientation and getting registered, you can contact New Student Programs.
    • Note: Orientation is where we will review a majority of your transfer work and additional information about starting in the College of Business and Economics.
