Boise State University professors, including Nancy Napier (Distinguished Professor), spent many years working in Hanoi, Vietnam, with the National Economics University (NEU) helping to build the first international standard business school. In the process, Boise State faculty trained 84 Vietnamese professors, business people and government officials in our Boise State master of business administration program. Last week, Boise State University and NEU, signed an agreement to start a program that will encourage Vietnamese students to study two years in Hanoi and two years in Boise. Students completing this 2+2 program will receive a Boise State degree.

The first group in the program to come to Boise will be about 40 students.

Attending the signing ceremony representing Boise State were Provost Marty Schimpf, Dean Ken Petersen, Distinguished Professor Nancy Napier and Professor Kirk Smith. Provost Schimpf presented Dr. Tran Tho Dat, NEU president, with a photograph of the Micron Business and Economics Building.
