Felice B. Klein, an assistant professor in the Department of Management, received the Best Convention Paper award for the HR Division at the 2019 Academy of Management (AOM) conference in Boston, Massachusetts in August.
Klein’s paper titled “The Road to Pay Inequity Is Paved with Good Intentions: Examining the Gender Pay Gap in Employee Equity-based Awards” was selected from more than 500 papers submitted to the HR division this year.
Klein’s paper was also accepted for presentation at the 79th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management and is published in the Best Paper Proceedings, available here. Best Paper Proceedings include approximately the top ten percent of accepted papers as designated by the program chair of each division/interest group.
Klein’s co-authors are Ryan Hammond, Aaron Hill and Ryan Stice-Lusvardi.
