COBE Faculty, Jack Marr Successfully Defends Dissertation

Jack Marr

Jack Marr, clinical associate professor in the Department of Management, successfully defended his dissertation in the Boise State University School of Public Service.

Tom Gattiker, professor in the Department of Information Technology and Supply Chain Management, was a member of the dissertation committee and commented, “Jack’s research explores how communities (Boise being a great example) and employers can take advantage of their proximity to “location based passions” (e.g. mountain biking, local independent restaurant scene) to attract employers and employees. Jack also shows that on average cities that are recognized as having access to LBPs enjoy greater income growth and housing price growth than other cities.”
