Diane Schooley-Pettis is associate dean for faculty and administrative affairs and a professor of finance. She joined the College of Business and Economics in 1989 as an assistant professor of finance, was promoted to associate professor in 1995 and to professor in 2000. She has served as associate dean since 1999. Diane’s responsibilities include oversight of faculty processes, accreditation, strategic budgeting, analysis, reporting and planning, information technology and facilities. She earned a Ph.D. in finance from the University of Colorado-Boulder. She holds a B.S. in economics from South Dakota State University and an M.S. in economics from Purdue University. Diane’s research interests include consumer finance and sustainability reporting. Her most recent research is published in the Journal of Financial Counseling and Planning and Financial Services Review. Diane is actively involved with the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
