Learn how to engage in meaningful conversations and network with professionals from Richard Gines, author of “Finding Your Fit: A Foundation of Principles & Processes for Job Seekers.” Learn the do’s and don’ts for job seeking from the perspective of a hiring manager. Discover how to use processes and resources to find a job that fits you.

This opportunity is brought to you by COBE Career Services and the College of Engineering. For those who purchase Richard’s book beforehand, there will be an opportunity for book signing at the event. Pizza will be provided.

Meet the Presenter

Richard Gines

Richard Gines spent his professional career in the tech industry working at HP starting in 2001: serving in an array of positions from Software Engineer to various leadership roles. This included a period where he was performing sourcing, interviewing, and the hiring of hundreds of professionals yearly.

Richard is the author of “Finding Your Fit: A Foundation of Principles & Processes for Job Seekers.” A book inspired from the notes taken during this period and from mentoring dozens of job-seeking professionals then and after.

Richard earned a BS in Computer Science from Boise State University. He also received an Executive MBA from Boise State University and is PMP (Project Management Professional) certified.
