Student after student tell us they chose Boise State University College of Business and Economics (COBE) “because of the vibe.” Often within the first few minutes of a visit to the Boise State campus, students feel the vibe and say, “This is where I want to be!”
What is the vibe?
Perhaps the vibe is the cutting-edge nature and value of degree programs offered at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Perhaps the vibe is the sense of campus-wide pride in studying at a university recognized nationally for its innovation.
What a building!
It feels great to study in the beautiful Micron Business and Economics Building (MBEB) which has become a Boise landmark. Designed to foster student and faculty interaction, collaboration and creativity, the vibe is comfortable and friendly. It will be your home away from home.
Walking into the ICCU Plaza you are greeted by a statue of Steve Appleton extending a welcoming hand. Steve is memorialized in bronze by internationally-recognized sculptor and Boise State’s Professor of the Practice Benjamin Victor. Steve was CEO of Micron (1994-2012) and a COBE alumnus. Steve championed the Micron’s lead gift to the building.

Nowhere is the we-care-about-you vibe more prominent than at COBE Advising Services and COBE Career Services. Dedicated full-time academic advisors are here just for you. And, our college-level Career Services brings in employers from near and far to hire COBE students.

Campus is located on the Greenbelt (25-mile tree-lined pathway), adjacent to the beautiful Boise River, within 45 minutes of the Bogus Basin Ski Area and next to a happening, vibrant downtown within easy walking distance.
The Blue!
A stadium full of students and alumni cheering for the nationally recognized Bronco football team on the Blue Turf is hands-down one of the best school-spirit vibes in the nation!
